At the Microsoft Press Conference at E3 2015 on June 15, Microsoft announced that the Xbox One will gain backward compatibility with select Xbox 360 games starting this fall.
This feature will be “available at no additional charge,” according to an article published by Xbox Wire, so you can play Xbox 360 games you already own whether they are digital or disc.
For the time being, only twenty-one video game titles are currently supported by the new feature. Microsoft plans to support over one-hundred totals this upcoming holiday.
